Matthew Williamson Ready To Wear Spring 2015

Matthew Williamson never fails to delight and his recent show at London Fashion Week delights yet again. A beautiful use of prints and colour creates the perfect mix of sophistication and boho glamour.

Williamson cites the relaxed glamour of David Bailey's shots of Marie Helvin in Chasing Rainbows as his inspiration for this collection.

"The collection evokes the carefree attitude of a long, hot summer. A distinct femininity and sense of easy movement underpin the collection’s soft, languid silhouettes. Pleating, drapery and gentle waterfall ruffles balance the sleek simplicity of laid-back suits accentuated by the use of diaphanous chiffons, washed silks and butter-soft suede. Bohemian Luxe at London Fashion Week

New York and London have been buzzing in recent weeks with their respective fashion weeks taking place and hitting the headlines.As predicted bold prints and colour have taken centre stage yet again in the majority of the collections for Spring 2013 - a trend we welcome with open arms.

Although there were many stunning collections on show in both cities Matthew Williamson's 'bohemian luxe' collection in London has wowed us with his exotic colour combinations, stunning prints and beaded shoes.
