Michaelangelo Di Battista

Thanks to the wonderful Yellowtrace blog we recently stumbled upon the work of this amazing photographer Michaelangelo Di Battista. Di Battista initially studied at art school in Milan and then spent an addtional 2 years studying Photography in New York. He now spends his time between London, Paris and New York producing stunning images such as these below.A clear case of where fashion meets art.

Making the most out of the mundane

As you may have noticed Leoni & Vonk is attempting to embrace social networking full on and is now happily twittering. An unexpected result of all this twittering is the exposure to lots of very funny and  informative blogs. One of my favourite is Woogsworld - making the most out of the mundane. Beauty and the Bridesmaid

The gorgeous Pippa Middleton and a recent episode of Project Runway (yes - our guilty pleasure!) got us  thinking how important the bridesmaid dress is to the whole look of a wedding. Pippa almost stole the show but that could have been intentional to take the pressure off the lovely Kate - in any case they both looked amazing!

Sadly, as some of us may have experienced, this is not always the case. The following photos, even taking into account the change in fashion taste demonstrate that the bride does not always know best - what were they thinking?
